Welcome to the Friends of Tannery Drift School!            Registered Charity: 291369

Friends of Tannery Drift School (FTDS) are every parent, carer and member of staff who helps to fund raise for our school – whether you are part of our committee/membership and organise events, make donations, or help out at an event.

FTDS raise money throughout the academic year to fund projects, equipment or facilities which would not otherwise be funded, to enhance school life for the children of Tannery Drift First School. 

There will be new challenges this year for FTDS, however we will continue to explore enjoyable ways to bring together and support our wider school community, through fundraising and cost neutral events/activities, while being mindful of the financial pressures families are experiencing and adhering to the changing guidance associated with COVID 19.  

In 2019/20 FTDS have already funded/agreed to fund:

Fun Playground Markings, Games for Penguin Class, Imajica Theatre Whole School Pantomime (December 2019), Early Years Outside Space Improvements, Yr1 Reading Corner Resources, £1900 towards a new Guided Reading Scheme for Early Years and KS1, New display cabinet for the school hall, Tannery Tots/Early Years After School Club resources for the younger children, School Defibrillator, Harpist during Art Week, Early Years Baking Day, Yr4 Teepee, Portable Coat Rack, Yr4 Leavers Hoodies, White Rose Maths, 10 x Bubble Machines, Yr4 Leavers Icecreams!

FTDS 100 Club 2020/21
The FTDS 100 club is a charitable lottery with 10 draws across the year. (There are no draws in September or August.) 
Draws are made on the last Friday of the month and are witnessed by a member of FTDS.

Half of the annual subscription fee goes to the FTDS and half goes into the prize fund for the draws.  
Subscription for 2020/21 is now open!

FTDS Virtual AGM & Meeting

Second Hand Uniform
We are now able to sell and receive new badge/white/grey items!

Buying uniform - New logo items are in high demand.  To see if we have the items you would like in stock or to be added to our waiting list please email us including your name, required items and sizes.  We are now also able to sell greys/whites/summer dresses, again please contact us to check what we have in stock.  Items will be invoiced for via email and must be paid for before they are received.   

Donations - Please email us if you have items new logo items/ good quality greys/whites to donate and we will arrange collection/delivery.

Easy Fundraising

As we can't fundraise in person we would like to ask if you are doing your shopping online, please sign up to easyfundraising.

Over 4,000 sites will give us a free donation every time you shop online. This will help us continue to provide activities and resources for the school for our children to enjoy and benefit from.

UNDER REVIEW - Eco Party Pack

Please note that due to Covid 19 FTDS are reviewing how and what we are able to offer. 
We will update this page once when we have further information.

FTDS have two party packs available for hire each containing;

30 cups, 30 plates, 30 bowls, 2 jugs & 4 platters

Packs can be hired for a weekend or midweek party for £5 a pack.
